Sunroom Energy Efficiency
Sunroom glass from 25 to 30 years ago was inefficient and caused spaces to be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Today the glass we use at Creative Enclosures performs superior to the glass that gave sunrooms a bad name 30 years ago. Our glass has a multi coat metallic process with an argon gas between the panes. This allows the light in for brightness but aids in blocking out the heat in the summer and retaining heat in the winter. Some folks decide to have their space open to the entire home others have a door separating the space. Both are ok it is important to discuss upfront during the planning stages to insure you have an efficient operating space!
